If you haven’t already seen on WH campus, we have installed some signs at some of the entrances/exits showing that e-scooters are not allowed on site. This includes private and rented e-scooters. Specific sign image to the right.

Modeshift STARS is a national accreditation awarded to businesses and organisations that go above and beyond in developing, implementing, and monitoring an Effective Travel Strategy. This should change travel behaviour and reduce the number of single occupancy vehicle journeys to and from sites.
Unfortunately the University does not and cannot influence commercial decisions being taken by bus service companies to discontinue services based on patronage.
From Tuesday 03 May the Construction of a new roundabout on H9 Groveway will be starting, to carry out the construction phase safely it will be necessary to close this section of the H9 Groveway until the scheme is completed in December 2022, this includes the diversion of six major power supply cables by Western Power Distribution which is being coordinated into the scheme.
We have been informed by Vale Travel that they are ceasing to operate 11 / 11X bus service as of 29 April 2022. This is due to the service no longer being financially viable to operate.
