Following the launch of our non-statutory consultation on 14 November 2024, we’ve managed to speak with over 3000 people at both in-person and online events that we’ve hosted so far. These events give us the opportunity to have meaningful conversations with communities across the route, answering questions to help people better understand our proposals before sharing feedback. Thank you to all of you that have attended, we hope you’ve found them useful.
To the rear of the Robert Hooke building parking will be unavailable within this area, as per the photo below, whilst work on the generator outbuilding is carried out from 9th September for at least 4 weeks.

Welcome to the Easter edition of You Connected
Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to attend the House of Commons, Transport Committee where I was asked to provide an update on the progress of East West Rail (EWR). Speaking and taking questions alongside myself were representatives the Oxford-Cambridge Science Supercluster Board, England’s Economic Heartland and the Mayor of Bedford. I spoke about the potential EWR has to connect vital workforce hubs and boost the country’s economic competitiveness.
