Carers Support

Carers are unpaid individuals who care for a friend of family member. The person they care for may need help because of their illness, frailty, disability, mental health problem or an addiction, and they are unable to cope without their carer's support. Anyone could be a carer, and anyone can become a carer at any time. Caring can be exhausting, emotional and isolating. So, we worked with the OU Carer Staff Network to pull together a collection of resources. We hope that these will provide practical information, useful support, and a sense of solidarity.
