Online Membership Group Meeting (changed from in-person event)

Dates
Thursday, June 19, 2025 - 10:00 to 12:00
Location
Online, Microsoft Teams

An email was sent out on 21 May to notify members of the postponement of the CPRL Engagement Day to later in the year.

As you may be aware, CPRL has commissioned a review of the Centre, led by Dr Iain Raphael, which is now nearing completion. In light of the timing of the review’s findings, and coupled with lower-than-anticipated numbers for the in-person event, we believe it would be more beneficial to use the 19th June (10am-12pm) as an opportunity to share and discuss the review’s outcomes, along with broader opportunities and challenges in the HE space.

To enable wider and more inclusive participation across forces, we have decided to hold the session online via Teams. We’re confident this format will allow for richer discussion and broader engagement.

We also want to reassure you that the exciting plans we had for the in-person event – including a visit to our cutting-edge XR studios – are simply being postponed, not cancelled. We look forward to welcoming you later in the year for a re-arranged event that will showcase these facilities and allow for more informal networking and collaboration.

We hope you’ll be able to join us online on 19th June for what promises to be a valuable and engaging session. Please email oupc@open.ac.uk if you do not have the invite.
