Wildlife behaviour, conservation and monitoring

Our research reaches from fundamental to applied ecology.

Our research includes:

  • behavioural ecology of vertebrates and invertebrates (lagomorphs, crustaceans, bumblebees);
  • wildlife monitoring methodology for rare and elusive species;
  • conservation ecology of species in agro-ecosystems and tropical forests.

We have worked extensively with industry and provide specialist consultancy services in species and habitat monitoring. We have contributed to the development of standard methodologies for species monitoring and conservation status assessments of threatened species.
