Meet the team

SCiLAB’s Director is an academic with interest and expertise in scholarship and innovation. Our current Centre Director is Liz Hardie, a Law School senior lecturer who researches experiential learning (clinical legal education), the use of technology within legal education and student belonging.

The Deputy Director, who also has scholarship expertise, provides support. This role is currently held by Helen Selby-Fell, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Policing Organisation and Practice. Helen specialises in research and analysis in the police service including ‘evidence based policing’, and forensic (investigative) psychology.

How to find us

Postal address: SCiLAB, Michael Young Building, Walton Hall, Milton Keynes, MK7 6BB.

The nearest parking for the Michael Young Building is the South West Parking area, opposite the building and clearly signposted. Use MK7 6BB for satnavs. Parking is free across the campus; disabled bays and electric car charging bays are available.
