Where do you look for academic literature? In this session, we will consider literature searching models to formulate an effective search strategy, including scoping your topic and selecting relevant search engines, databases, and other places to look.

Learning Objectives:  

  • Understand what literature searching entails at doctoral level
  • Develop a successful literature search strategy for your project
  • Explore the different databases the OU subscribes to
  • Explore ways to access content beyond the Library collection
