This session aims to enhance understanding of the Open University's (OU) Open Research activities and strategy. It will cover the various stages of the research lifecycle where open mechanisms can be applied, from initial project conception to final outputs, and will also point to resources for guidance on effectively sharing research data and outputs at crucial points within the research lifecycle.

Session objectives:  

  • Understand the OU’s Open Research Journey activities
  • Learn about the stages of the research lifecycle where data and outputs can be shared  
  • Learn about the guidance and tools available within the OU for sharing your research data and outputs  
  • Learn about the open platforms, guidance, tools and training available within the OU for sharing your research data and outputs
