Nursing Stage 2 Online Open Evening

Starting in October 2022 you can study for Stage 2 of your nursing degree alongside your current job with The Open University in Wales. Our new places are fully commissioned by the Welsh Government for NHS employees. As you study alongside your job, there's no loss of earnings. Plus, alongside NHS employer support you will have protected study time and for your practice placements as a nursing student.

In the online session, our team will guide you through what's on offer from the Welsh government places. They will walk you through the course details, what you need to apply and the application process. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions at the end.

All places on our nursing degree are subject to The Open University entry criteria for professional programmes and our selection and interview processes. On this occasion the commissioned places on our nursing degree are for NHS staff. However, we continue to welcome students from both NHS and independent sectors on our qualifications.
