Martin’s talk will explore the age of planetesimals - a chaotic early chapter in our solar system's history - and will showcase how by studying meteorites we are able to reconstruct the recipe for building planets as well as the properties of some rocky bodies that were never meant to be.
This event is part of our latest series of OpenTalks which will see expert OU scientists sharing their passion and knowledge for science with engaging talks covering topics such as quantum physics, meteorites, and establishing a lunar base.
