In the ever-evolving landscape of Higher Education, the turn towards digital learning has accelerated, challenging traditional pedagogies and inviting innovative approaches to teaching and learning. "Creativity and Critique: Digital Learning and Teaching: Insights for Learning Design in Business and Law," edited by Jacqueline Baxter, Helen Selby-Fell and Andrew Gilbert, emerges as a seminal work at this critical juncture. Jacqueline Baxter

Professor Jacqueline Baxter is Professor of Public Leadership and Management and former Founding Director for SCiLAB. Her research interests lie in the areas of leadership development and emergence and meaningful learning and work.

Professor Baxter is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences and Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Helen Selby-Fell

Helen Selby-Fell

Dr Helen Selby-Fell holds a Senior Lectureship in Policing, working closely with the Centre for Policing Research & Learning (CPRL). She is also the Deputy Director of SCiLAB (the Scholarship Centre for Innovation in Online Legal and Business Education) in the Faculty of Business & Law (FBL) at The Open University. Helen’s research interests include the conceptualisation and implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP), decision making, and more recently, professional identity in the transition from practitioner to academic in Higher Education. Prior to joining academia full time, Helen has fifteen years- experience working in the police service, where she held various senior police staff roles.

Andrew Gilbert

Andrew Gilbert

Dr Andrew Gilbert is a Senior Lecturer in Law and Associate Dean for Curriculum and Partnerships in the Faculty of Business and Law. Having started his career in legal practice, he has worked in higher education for over twenty years and has gained all-round experience as a tutor, researcher and academic leader. Andrew’s recent work has explored how clinical legal education can develop students’ social and cultural capital, law school responses to the Solicitors Qualifying Examination, and the impact of generative AI on legal education.
