Prof Olsson-Francis elected EANA President

Prof Olsson-Francis delivers acceptance speech

We’re proud to announce our Director, Prof Karen Olsson-Francis, has been elected President of the European Astrobiology Network Association (EANA).

Since its founding in 2001, EANA has coordinated astrobiology research in Europe, bringing together researchers from multiple disciplines.

EANA is governed by an elected Executive Council, consisting of the president, two vice-presidents, a treasurer, two secretaries, and councillors who represent those European nations that are active in astrobiology research.

EANA also supports AbGradE (Astrobiology Graduates in Europe), an independent group aimed at helping early-career scientists and students in the field.
