The badged Digital and Information Literacy courses will support you on your journey through levels 1 and 2 of an undergraduate degree. Each level equips you with all the digital and information literacy (DIL) skills you need at that level of study. You will learn from a range of materials, such as interactive activities, recorded tutorials, and guidance, and you will be tested on your learning with a series of quizzes.

When you successfully finish the quizzes, you will be rewarded with a digital badge. These badges can be shared on social media platforms, like LinkedIn, and are a great way of showcasing your skills to prospective employers.

You are free to work through the badged courses at your own pace. This means you can get a headstart on building your DIL skills before your module starts, or catch up when your studies are quieter. You may also find it helpful to go back to parts of the course should you ever need to. The index on the course homepages list all the activities covered in the course, so you can easily find the help you need, at the time you need it.

These skills are an essential component of academic study. But they also give you the edge in the workplace and everyday life.
