E-Bike storage update at the Library.

Please be aware that the Library Bike Shed forms part of the Library Building.  In line with Health & Safety regulations, e-bikes and e-bike batteries are not permitted within OU buildings, which include the Library Bike Shed.

The lockers for e-bike battery storage/charging from the Library have been relocated to the bike shed by the Michael Young Building.

E-Bikes are required to be stored in the designated bike shelters, which have fireproof lockers to charge or store e-bike batteries.

To help us remain compliant with these requirements:

• ❌ Do not store e-bikes in the Library Bike Shed.
• ❌ Do not bring e-bikes & e-batteries into the Library or any other OU building.
• ✅ Store e-bikes and e-batteries only in the designated external bike shelters.

The nearest designated bike shelter to the Library is the Berrill Bike Shed.

Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and compliant campus environment.
