Visit to Finland!

Our Senior Fellow Dr Lis Bates has just returned from a successful research visit to Finland at the invitation of HEUNI, the European Institute for Crime Prevention and Control, in February 2020. Lis gave a lecture on sexual violence, young people and policing to the Police University College in Tampere.

Lis was also an expert commentator on a report on hidden refugee victims of sexual violence and addressed the launch event at the Finnish Parliament, hosted by the Minster for Equality.
