Student Voice Festival 2024 (24 February - 9 March) was an opportunity to share thoughts and experiences and meet other OU students. You can keep up to date with student voice events here.
The National Student Survey is a UK-wide annual survey that gets sent to a random selection of undergraduate students.
Activities organised by Open SU include creating spaces for students to engage with each other.

Our online Big Blether events are fantastic opportunities to connect with other students and OU staff in a relaxed and welcoming space.
We will be hosting a Big Blether every month from October 2025 to June 2026, and you’re welcome to join us whenever it suits you.

Care experienced students sit on our Corporate Parenting Steering Group, which monitors our activities to support them and ensure we meet our Corporate Parenting Plan (PDF, 631 KB) outcomes.
The students’ voice is integral to the design and planning of our corporate parenting activity.
A Student Reference Group also meets to inform the agenda, feed into our action plan and plan student engagement.
