Join us to explore how higher education instructors conceptualise ‘research’ and ‘research-informed teaching’ within their teaching practice.
Our Praxis project, “Decoding Research and Research-Informed Teaching: Perspectives from Languages Associate Lecturers,” offers new, valuable insights into what research means to instructors and how it influences classroom practice. Through interviews and focus groups, we are listening to practitioners’ voices to better understand the relationship between research and pedagogy. This workshop will present key findings from the project and will provide an opportunity for participants to share their own perspectives and experiences of research-informed teaching. Attendees will gain valuable insights into integrating research into their teaching to enrich student learning and enhance academic relevance.
