At Praxis, we envision a vibrant scholarly community. We will as bold questions about learning and teaching which ignite curiosity and innovation. This community will come powerfully to life in three ways:
Praxis will be a leader in weaving educational research and scholarship into the fabric of our academic. Our presence will be felt throughout the faculty, whether we gather in person or collaborate remotely. We will shine a celebratory spotlight on our research and ideas, showcasing them through internal and external platforms. Praxis will inspire, provoke thought, and drive participation—becoming the heartbeat of visible scholarly community.
At the core of Praxis is the belief that our academic identities grow through meaningful connections. We will embark with colleagues, mentors, students and interested Others on a collaborative journey of discovery. Through peer support, mentoring, writing groups, and engaging workshops, we will create spaces that energize and empower each member to pursue individual and collaborative projects.
Praxis will be an ongoing conversation, between educational research and pedagogic practice: ideas spark dialogue and dialogue drives action. Together, we will explore new approaches, challenge assumptions, and push the boundaries of scholarship. Through these dynamic discussions, reflections will evolve into ground-breaking research, ensuring that our work remains fresh, relevant and transformative.
