We heard from WELS academics who explored current and emerging approaches through course analysis, student feedback, and a new Interactive Writing Tool. The session reflected on challenges in promoting criticality and shared practical ways to scaffold student learning. Whether you teach, design, or support academic writing, this event offered a chance to rethink how we present criticality and make it more accessible—without diluting its importance.
