Open Justice Personal Injury Clinic

The Open Justice Centre offers a free Personal Injury Clinic in partnership with Hodge Jones & Allen. The clinic aims to support members of the community while giving law students valuable practical experience that enhances their understanding of legal processes and personal injury law.

The Personal Injury Clinic provides free legal advice and assistance to individuals who have suffered an accident and need professional guidance. We can help you explore whether you have a claim and what steps you may be able to take next.

The clinic can advise on injuries resulting from:

  • Accidents at work
  • Road traffic incidents (as a driver, cyclist, passenger, or pedestrian)
  • Accidents in public places
  • Accidents on private premises
  • Injuries caused by defective or faulty products

If you have been injured within the last three years through no fault of your own, the clinic may be able to assist with free initial advice.

How the clinic works

Appointments take place online with student advisers and solicitors from Hodge, Jones & Allen.

Please note:

  • No legal advice is given during the appointment itself.
  • You will receive a written letter of advice within 21 days after your appointment.
  • All legal advice is reviewed and supervised by a qualified, practising personal injury lawyer.
