  • Access to online resources
  • Resources to support literature searching
  • How to get resources that the library does not hold
  • Training sessions the library offers
  • Open access publishing
  • Open Research Online (the OU’s research publications repository)
  • Research data management
  • Open Research Data Online (the OU’s research data repository)
  • Where to go for help and support

By the end of this session you should know:

  • The services the library offers to support you with your research  
  • How to access help and support

  • Postgraduate Research Students*
  • Research Staff, and
  • Research Support Staff

*If you are a new PGR or early on in your research degree, we recommend you attend the ‘How the Library can support you through your research degree’ training session.
