MK Marathon: 04 May - Ring Road Access

On Monday, 04 May 2026 (Early May Bank Holiday), the MK Marathon will be passing through the Walton Hall campus.

If you do need to attend campus, please note the following:

• Participants will be running against the normal one‑way system, which means the ring road will be restricted at various times as runners move through the site.
• Car parks accessed via the marathon route will be temporarily restricted while the event is taking place.
• Vehicle access is via the East Gate Security Lodge only - point 44 on the map.
• Parking is only permitted in the Library Car Parking (point 5) on the map and people will be requested to walk to buildings.
• Exiting campus is via the South entrance / exit barriers.
• The red arrows on the image below indicate the route the runners will follow.
