Catch the Bus Week

Catch the bus week is a national celebration of the benefits of taking the bus and an opportunity for those people who don’t normally take the bus to give it a try.

If you have not already signed up to Smartgo why not take a look at the current bus offers available including a week’s free travel on the bus via Arriva

To register:

1. Visit: www.smartgo.co.uk/join
2. Complete the form for the Standard network and choose ‘The Open University’
3. Enter: ou@smartgo.co.uk in the 'Verification email address’ box
4. Fill in your details and click ‘Submit’
5. You’ll receive an account validation email with an auto-generated password to complete your setup, then you’re ready to start saving!

If you travel to work by bus during Catch the Bus Week using any public bus service you will be entitled to enter our free prize draw to win a £25 Marks & Spencer voucher.  This includes travel on any of the public buses or trams.

All you need to do is scan and send a copy of your bus ticket to travel-advice@open.ac.uk together with the following details:-

• Your name
• Your email address
• Where you travel from
• How often you travel by bus
• Which bus service you use (Number and Service provider if possible)

We will then enter your name into our free prize draw.  Colleagues in the Nation and SRSC Offices or at Wellingborough Warehouse are also welcome to take part in the free prize draw
