Equality Analysis

An Equality Impact Assessment (EIA) is a tool that helps us consider the impact of our decisions and make sure that we are not inadvertently disadvantaging groups of people.

An EIA should be conducted during the initial stages of:

• developing a new activity (policy, procedure, project, service or working practice), or
• significantly revising an existing activity (policy procedure, project, service or working practice).

The team is currently revising the EIA template and will share the template when it becomes available.
