Sarah Armstrong-Hallam joins the Centre

A warm welcome to Sarah Armstrong-Hallam who joins the Centre as the new Senior Manager, Partnerships and Operations.

Sarah has (almost!) 20 years experience of research delivery and management, and was instrumental in the implementation of East Midlands Police & Academic Collaboration (EMPAC), another PKF funded police and academic collaboration.  Sarah started her career as a researcher and has particular interests in children & youth, violence against women and ethnicity.  Since then she has worked on over a hundred projects exploring the lives and experiences of children and young people, victims of racism and domestic violence and has strengths in qualitative design, quantitative methods and ethics, and has since collaborated with national and European partners to deliver high quality and impactful research.

In 2005 Sarah took over the management of the Centre for Children and Youth at the University of Northampton, followed by the design, implementation and management of Institute for Public Safety Crime and Justice (IPSCJ) in 2014.  Sarah is delighted to be joining the CPRL during these challenging times to support the development of collaborative partnerships, and the centres activities.
