Member forces are invited to our first Evidence-Based Practice Working Group.

If you or colleagues in your force work in Evidence-Based Practice, Organisational Learning, Insights, Research, Evaluation, Continuous Improvement, or related areas — and would like to participate — please get in touch. The group is open to all staff within CPRL member forces with an interest in strengthening the use of evidence in policing.

As a reminder, the Working Group will:

  • Provide a collaborative forum to share learning, good practice, and innovation
  • Create an effective link between research and operational practice
  • Support the development of research ideas and opportunities for collaboration
  • Enable networking among colleagues in similar roles across forces
  • Meet online every three months, with Terms of Reference agreed at the first meeting

If you haven’t yet expressed interest and would like to be included, please contact [email protected].
