Rural Business Bootcamp

The Open University, in partnership with Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC), is proud to bring you a two-day Rural Business Bootcamp at the SRUC Barony Campus in Dumfries. 

Are you ready to take your rural business idea to the next level? This free programme is designed to support women entrepreneurs at any stage; whether you’re just starting out or looking to grow your business.

• Marketing, media, and social media strategy
• Website skills for visibility and growth
• How to diversify and future-proof your rural business

What to Expect

Two days on campus, packed with hands-on training, followed by 12 weeks of tailored expert support and access to hot-desking space.

Extra Support to Help You Get There

• Free shuttle bus from Dumfries town centre
• Free childcare for children aged 3+
• Online orientation session to meet the team and get set up before we begin
