The Open University is delighted to be hosting a range of activities as part of the Glasgow Science Festival 2026. Celebrate two decades of bringing action-packed events to places and spaces across the city.
This year’s festival, which will run between Thursday 4 and Sunday 14 June, is themed ‘Cheers to 20 Years’ in recognition of its two decades of work to help make science accessible to adults and children alike.
The Glasgow Science Festival and The Open University will be in the centre hall of the Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, with loads of free activities. Build your own jet powered boat, recreate Glasgow’s iconic buildings with LEGO and take part in a meteorite investigation.
All of these events are free, and no booking is required. There is more information about all of these on the Glasgow Science Festival website, or you can click on the individual event links below.
