MK Innovates

In October 2024, Hannah Cooper and Victoria Pearson joined the School of Physical Sciences to take part in MK Innovates at Unitiy Place, Milton Keynes.

The event attracted school students and aimed to only to inform young people about what Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) subjects are and how these are involved in numerous sectors, but also to showcase the many opportunities to work in those subjects. There were stalls from Red Bull, GCHQ, other universities, the Police and many more. 

The event was a great success with nearly a thousand students exploring a whole range of STEM subject.
