Geological Society - Family Fun Day

In October 2024, Hannah Cooper and Victoria Pearson travelled to London to participate in the Geological Society's family fun day as part of their Earth Science Week 2024.

The event was aimed at families and friends, who all came along to Burlington House, London for exciting, hands-on ice themed children’s activities followed by a screening of the iconic Ice Age (2002) in their lecture theatre.

The AstobiologyOU stall was themed around the icy worlds of the outer Solar System with activities to build what life on the icy surface or within the global oceans might look like and understand more about Enceladus and Europa.
