The Open University ranked number one for student satisfaction in Northern Ireland

The Open University has been ranked number one for overall student satisfaction in Northern Ireland in this year’s National Student Survey with a score of 89.1%.

The result reflects the views of students across the UK and recognises the quality of the learning experience, support and flexibility provided by the University.

The Open University supports learners from a wide range of backgrounds, enabling people to study in a way that works around their lives, work and caring responsibilities. This latest NSS result highlights the value students place on the University’s distinctive approach to flexible, high-quality higher education.

The National Student Survey is one of the largest annual surveys of final-year undergraduate students in the UK. It gives students the opportunity to share honest feedback on their experience of higher education and provides universities with valuable insight to support continuous improvement.
