To support children's pleasure in reading we need to offer stories that tempt and recognise the power of fiction.
 
Drawing on her research and expertise Professor Teresa Cremin from The Open University will highlight the marked academic, social and emotional benefits of reading literature in all its forms and offer top tips for engaging children in the world of stories, as well as brilliant book recommendations.
 
This Book Week NI event is suitable for teachers, parents and anyone interested in developing a love of reading in the young.
