EBSCO databases update: Check your Search Alerts and Custom Folders by 31 December

The EBSCO databases (e.g. PsycInfo, CINAHL, SPORTDiscus, et al) available through the Library have a fresh look from 31 December, presenting users with new, intuitive ways to refine, save and share search results. There are helpful resources for using the new interface in The New EBSCOhost Interface - Quick Start Guide, also found in the Help section of the EBSCO databases.

Action required by 31 December 2025

If you have used a MyEBSCO account to organise your saved research: 

1. Check whether you have created any custom folders by 31 December. EBSCO will not be migrating custom folder content automatically but has provided a way to retrieve and re-create your custom folders. See: How can I download the data from MyEBSCO custom folders in the classic EBSCO interfaces?
2. Search alerts and journal alerts will need to be recreated. Log in to your account and recreate them in the new version of EBSCO any time. See: Creating and Managing Search Alerts in the New EBSCO User Interfaces
