The Open University Archive is opening its doors for Heritage Open Days this September, the UK’s biggest festival of history and culture.
From 17 to 19 September, you can explore the OU’s story through exhibitions, archive displays, and the brand-new OU Archive Cinema, featuring themed screenings of historical film footage. Highlights include a new exhibition honouring former OU Chancellor Baroness Betty Boothroyd, alongside fascinating archive materials that celebrate the University’s legacy. Plus, there’s a special performance from the OU’s singing group, Open Voices, at 12 noon on Thursday 18 September.
Campus tours are now fully booked, but there’s still plenty to enjoy - with all exhibitions and screenings drop-in with no booking required. Explore the full programme.
