Postgraduate Research (PGR) students are an integral part of the Research Centre for Global Challenges and Social Justice (GCSJ) community, contributing fresh perspectives to its interdisciplinary work on global challenges and social justice.
Through dedicated events, such as our PhD student seminars, PGR students have opportunities to share their work, develop their skills, and engage with a supportive academic network.
Those interested in pursuing doctoral research are encouraged to explore the Faculty’s academics via the FASS People Directory to identify potential supervisors aligned with their research interests and to begin conversations about future PhD study.
There are funding opportunities for PhD students through an ESRC Doctoral Training Partnership uniting Brunel University London, The Open University and the University of Oxford.
