The Open University (OU) is committed to improving access to the university for Black and Asian students and success and progression for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic students.  We are working towards being an anti-racist institution. 

If you’re new to the OU and come from a Black, Asian, or other minority ethnic background, you could be eligible for £500 towards your OU study costs or living expenses as a student through the Open Futures Bursaries.

The Race and Ethnicity Hub offers fresh perspectives on race, racism and ethnicity through free courses, articles, interactives and audio/visual materials that celebrate diversity.
