Dear Postgraduate Research Student,

The Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) for 2023 is now open!

You will receive an email containing a bespoke link to the survey from ‘Open University’ (corrected from original email - see updated message below) – you may need to check your Junk mail folders.

This survey is your chance to tell us about your research experience at the Open University. It should take about 15 minutes to complete and will be open until 5 May 2023. 

The Surveys team tell us that trends suggest that people are not in the mood to complete surveys right now but we really hope you will take the time to participate in PRES 23, our biggest exercise to take a rounded snapshot of the OU doctoral experience. We want to know what you think!

PRES is carried out by universities across the UK and helps us to understand what is working well and what is not, helping us to make improvements where they will have the most relevant and useful impact for you. We will also randomly select five people who have completed the survey to receive £20 shopping vouchers.

Your responses in this survey are confidential to the research team and all reporting on this survey is anonymised.

Please note, some of you may not receive a link to the survey because you have signalled mail preferences that prevent such emails.
