Scottish Universities Press (SUP) publishes first annual report

The Open University is a proud member of the Scottish Universities Press (SUP), a fully open access and not-for-profit press managed by Scotland's university libraries.

The very first SUP Annual Review has been published and covers the activity and achievements of the Press throughout 2024. This was a significant year for SUP as they transitioned from a start-up initiative to a fully functioning open access press through the publication of Conversations with Tim Ingold in October. The report covers the launch of the first book, an overview of the content pipeline, the work of the Management and Editorial Boards, key partnerships and plans for 2025.

SUP offers a lower cost open access publication route for OU authors. If you’d like to know more, visit the SUP website or contact the OU’s SUP representative, [email protected]
