Calling all PGRs!

You are warmly invited to attend and/or present at the ​PGR Summer Conference​ on Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 June 2026. 

This free annual on-campus event will include: 

• a range of presentations
• insightful keynotes from OU staff and students
• the return of the poster competition
• an optional conference dinner and pub quiz
• lots of opportunities to socialise with other OU PGRs.

Call for abstracts

You're invited to share your research and PGR experiences through a range of formats:

• 30 minute Student Keynote talks (15 min Qs)
• 10 minute PGR research talks* (5 min Qs)
• 10 minute PGR lived experience talks* (5 min Qs)
• Thesis 180 (seconds): three minutes one slide presentations
• Poster Competition with prizes.

*PGR research and lived experience talks are open to creative interpretation including (but not limited to) physical demonstrations, models, prop use, poetry, song...
