Improving book borrowing at the OU Library

Recent upgrades to our book loan system mean we can use features that will make it easier for staff and postgraduate researchers (PGRs) to renew and recall books that are on loan from our collection. We surveyed staff and students to help us refine our loan policies and are now ready to roll out the new system from Monday 5 February.  

Under the new terms, loan periods are streamlined, recalls are simplified and notifications will make it easier to keep track of what you have out. Read more about it on our borrowing at the Walton Hall Library page.

To help you keep track of what you have on loan, we will send periodic email reminders. You can also check what you have on loan by logging into your account at My Library Account. If you have been a student but are now a member of staff or PGR, please ensure you log in with your new credentials to access additional permissions.
