How to read a research article - “The Christmas spirit and brain networks”

Come along to this drop-in event to learn how to read and evaluate research articles.  We will focus on the following light-hearted article looking at evidence for a “Christmas spirit” network in the brain:

You may get more from the session if you download and skim through the article in advance.  In the session we will work through techniques for reading research articles, summarising sections in your own words and evaluating the article.

 

This session is for currently register OU science students only.

It is aimed mainly at level 3 science students but will also be of interest to level 1 and 2 students.  It will take place in the undergraduate science online meeting room at 7pm on the 16th December.  

 

Note that Christmas spirit is optional !
