Outline of Trip
Day 1 coach from MK to London Heathrow in time for our flight to Keflavik airport with Icelandair
On arrival in Keflavik be met by our guide and driver for the transfer to
Hotel Húsafell for 2 nights half board.

Day 2 tour of must-see sites close to Hotel Húsafell include the waterfalls of Hraunfossar and Barnafossar, as well as Europe’s most powerful hot spring Deildartunguhver. You can also join an optional tour to the Vidgelmir lava tube cave (not included currently). This afternoon, enjoy a swim at the Krauma Spa (included)
Krauma is a natural geothermal baths & spa at Deildartunguhver, Europe’s most powerful hot spring. Experience nature from its core by bathing in the geothermal baths at Krauma. The hot water originates in Europe’s most powerful hot spring Deildartunguhver, at a temperature of 100°C (212°F). Krauma offers five relaxing natural geothermal baths, a cold tub to get your blood circulation going, steam room, Infrared cell and a relaxation room where you can rest by the fireplace while listening to soothing music. A bath towel is included
Return to Hotel Húsafell for dinner
Day 3 Golden Circle Tour
Depart Hotel Husafell and head off on a day exploring one of Iceland's iconic routes! Visit the rainbow misted double falls of Gullfoss, the geothermal hotspot of Geysir with its well-known geyser Strokkur which regularly erupts to around 30m, and the scenic national park Thingvellir where Iceland’s ancient parliament met. End the day in the south of Iceland at Hotel Rangá for 2 nights half board.
In one of Iceland’s most spectacular rural locations, Hotel Rangá is a superb 4 star ranch style hotel with well appointed standard and deluxe rooms as well as specially designed suites for each of the seven continents. It has a renowned fine dining restaurant overlooking the river, comfortable bar and lounge, outdoor hot tubs and uninterrupted views for miles. The hotel also features a roll-off roof observatory which houses two high quality telescopes to view the night sky and learn about the stars and other astronomy aspects.
Day 4 South Iceland
Discover the beautiful south; explore the iconic waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss, which cascades over a former sea cliff, and the wide thundering curtain of Skogafoss; visit the little town of Vik with its hilltop church, walk along dramatic black sand beaches and past basalt cliffs and distinctive sea stacks.
Return to Hotel Rangá overnight
Day 5 Head back towards the airport for your flight home but before then have a tour of the capital city (approx 2 hours). Reykjavik is a small, walkable city, with the main sights visited on this tour.
