Law student Gary Steel appears on The Law Society website

Gary Steel

Law graduate Gary Steel describes how he never took no for an answer, having left school aged 14 with no qualifications, studied law at the OU for six years while living at home, and eventually became a social welfare lawyer.

Gary’s story was previously covered in late 2019 and was revisited last year. Now a housing and discrimination solicitor at Derbyshire Law Centre, he was a guest speaker for current law students, as part of the Law School’s Belonging Project, earlier this academic year.
