This session will give a brief overview of the services and resources offered by the Library. It will cover:

• Open access publishing
• Open Research Online (the OU’s research publications repository)
• Research data management
• Open Research Data Online (the OU’s research data repository)
• Training sessions the library offers
• Resources to support literature searching
• Access to online resources
• How to get resources that the library does not hold
• Where to go for help and support 

By the end of this session you should know:

• The services the library offers to support you with your research
• How to access help and support

Target audience:  

• Postgraduate Research Students*
• Research Staff, and
• Research Support Staff

*If you are a new PGR or early on in your research degree, we recommend you attend the ‘Library support for your research degree: an overview’ webinar. This is not scheduled to run until 2026-27 however the slides, recording and transcript can be found here Library support for your research degree.
